Thornton Park Update - July 4th, 2013

Welcome back to the latest source of real estate information for the Thornton Park area - 

Good news from Freddie Mac as it reported that current, average fixed mortgage rates crept down to 4.29% as the holiday weekend approached, after rates jumped last week to 4.46%. 

Rates are still at historic lows, and homebuyer affordability remains strong in most parts of the country.

Florida buyers may struggle to find homes - as well as financial options: overall, inventory for single family homes remains low.

Condos are king around the Thornton Park area: Inventory has not changed too much over the past couple weeks, as one Single Family Home was listed (Lake Como "Orlando Highlands" area) , and three residences closed - all within the Star Tower Condo complex. See chart below for details.
