Welcome to Thornton Park Update - !


Welcome to Thornton Park Update, a quick blast of  current  information on the latest Real Estate activity in this unique Orlando neighborhood.

Thornton Park is actually a very small area of homes (Smaller than even locals realize!) tucked into an established and eclectic corner of Downtown Orlando.  See the "flag-shaped" area actually platted as Thornton Park below:

The surrounding area features well-known parks and shopping, and the Thornton Park neighborhood inhabitants - homeowners and merchants alike -  are involved in a number of activities that are anticipated and appreciated by folks throughout Orlando.

Thornton Park Update will include analysis of the real estate activity (Active Listings, Pending Sales, Closings) in the larger area shown by the rectangle between Lake and Bumby Avenues.  Lake Lawsona and Ferncreek Neighborhood includes the area outlined in green on the map, and it will be part of this Real Estate Update, also -

Thornton Park Area Real Estate: Recent Activity : 4 June 2013 - 18 June 2013:

Over the past two weeks there has been some decent real estate activity in the neighborhoods. One new Pending Sale has been added to give a total of three pending closings in the Thornton Park area, plus three residential listings:

Buying, selling, or financing a condominium is a more challenging transaction than for  a single family home, but clearly the market for condominiums in Orlando's Downtown  is strengthening.
